Alterac Valley for leveling Good or Bad?

Hello, I was wondering if focusing on Alterac Valley for leveling and turning in AV Marks is a reasonable strategy. I know it's probably not the fastest way to reach level 60, but I'm also aiming to progress through some PvP ranks.
