Why Don't Vampires Just Invent Hoodies And Take Over the World? Are they stupid?

The number of things shown in the series that can make sunlight safe for vampires is almost ridiculous:

・Tree shade

・Ice shade

・Regular clothing

・Literally any small amount of shade or just not standing on an open field

So why don't they just wear their hoodies and terrorize the day?
