What was/is the cheapest new car that appeciated after leaving the lot

Alot of ways you could take this question but generally im thinking what was the cheapest new car that could have been bought from the dealer, driven for a couple years and sold for more than you paid.

Off the top of my head BMW 1M fits this pretty well.
