Any carnivore runners out there?

Former carnivore here that decided to add back carbs a few months back.

Starting to notice some of my pre-carnivore symptoms come back. I’m more moody, anxious, and minorly depressed (not severe but still sucks), congested, and waking up with headaches which leads me to believe my sleep apnea came back.

I think it’s time to go back to the carnivore diet. Only issue is that I have a half marathon coming up in 2 weeks that I’ve been training hard for and don’t want to derail my hard work.

Have any runners out there had success on the carnivore diet and any tips so that I don’t lose my progress? Would it perhaps be better to start after the race?
