Brought back carbs, morning wood gone

Did carnivore for 4 months to start the year as an elimination diet to fight gut inflammation. Never planned to do it long term. Reintroduced carbs a couple months ago. On carnivore regardless of my fat intake I noticed raging morning wood everyday. Now it’s pretty much gone. Energy levels haven’t improved at all, just put on a bunch of water weight and that’s it. And I can’t think of any other major changes I made in my life. Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience here.
