Tried (and failed) to make sense of the Heeler house

Or as the map from a toy set calls it...

shout out to the heerlers, gotta be one of my favorite genders

So the Bluey crew admits they always just shove certain rooms together for plot convenience, and I took that personally (just kidding!!). I'm also aware of the theory that the house keeps changing because Bluey and Bingo are remembering it wrong (in the future?? Not a big fan of that one but you do you! 👍), but since backgrounds tend to get reused a lot, there is some consistency! I looked through a lot of episodes and tried to map out what seems to be accurate most of the time!

(Side note: I mostly used the episode Postman as a reference for how the TV room and dining room are juxtaposed)

Episodes like Trains and Family Meeting really mess this up, but remember, plot convenience!

And that's where the consistency ends. As for the rest...

  • Other noteworthy things:

The house is actually a lot longer than I thought it was! (Maybe I'm just used to my relatively small apartment... 🤔)

In some Season 3 episodes, the dining room is completely revamped and is next to the staircase that leads to this other room:

The top of that staircase got a redesign too! The windows were replaced with doors!

As you might have figured out already, the ground floor is mostly a mystery, and both of the top floorplans don't even look like they can realistically fit together, so this quest for consistency was kind of a flop. 😆

Lesson learned: it's just houses singing songs, mate. Don't think too hard about it. 👌
