About to start a play through.. non-spoiler advice?

As noted, I’m going to be starting a play through of Bloodborne shortly (just finished God of War Ragnarok), and I was hoping that some of the community could give me some decent advice that might help me save time and still enjoy my playthrough, without spoiling anything. I know almost nothing about this game so far, I’ve never even watched someone play it.

This will be my 5th From game - I’ve done DSR (platinum), DS3 (completed w DLC), Elden Ring (completed w DLC) and Sekiro (platinum). Didn’t get more than a couple hours into DS2.

In these games I tend to spend lots of time in my first playthrough just figuring stuff out, sometimes missing out on important mechanics, or putting points into less-than-optimal stats/gear, and I’d ideally like to cut some of that out, and use my game time efficiently.
