Why every back-links analysts tools show different number of backlinks ?

I have tried every tool to analysis back-links for my own site or competitor ,but every tools show different number . I have tried majestic alexa google webmaster (for my own site) backlinks monitor small seo tools aherfs etc But every-tools show different numbers of back-links . Why it happened and to which one should we keep faith ? Thanks in advanced.
