tooth extracted and still bleeding

So my dad started having trouble in one of his teeth scince yesterday and today randomly went to see the dentist and dentist adviced to take out the teeth it was done today. it was a surprise tbh i didnt even knew he went to the doctor. so now i found out the dentist didnt even do an Xray it was the upper left wisdom teeth which was decayed and taken out. its still bleeding and it has already been 4 5 hour so is it normal ?
