[s2 spoilers] So does Jinx have actual powers?

Forgive me for I am not too well versed in League of Legends lore or perhaps I missed something but in season 1 I kind of assumed Jinx’s pink electricity thing was just an aesthetic thing on the animators part. But watching season 2 it’s seems like Jinx is genuinely super human since I don’t think a regular human, even with her natural athleticism, could survive a fight with either Vi with the gauntlets or Monster Vander like she did. So if that pink lightning actually gives her some sort of super reflexes like it seems, where did she get it? Like i said maybe I missed something.
