This is your sign to do a pre-purchase inspection at the mechanic!

Found a perfect ford transit 2016 with 113,000 miles for $19,000. We are just going to be using it for camping adventures and driving between contracts. Yes that’s a lot of miles for full time living but we have a home base this van was just for fun because we don’t have a second car and don’t have one made for any sort of outdoorsy. Anyways. Did a test drive and it ran perfectly. Minimal damage just a couple bumps on side of van. Took it to the mechanic…. Oil in the coolant. Yup. He said it would be a $10,000 repair because he would have to replace the engine and all the rubber pieces. Saved us so much money by telling us to politely take our money elsewhere and DO NOT buy the van. He even showed us what it looked like and it was nasty.
