What happend to Verno ?

He played like the Second Coming of Leo in the SOOP off-season tournament and now he's like incredibly mediocre, like not bad but not that good either. The same is happening to Mada except its vice versa whereby he's mid in SOOP but godlike right now, its almost as if they swapped bodies
