H1B petition amendment - location change, premium processing

Hi all,

I am currently on F1 Stem OPT working out of Texas. I got my H1B stamping dropbox appointment coming up in November in India. However, my employer wants to change my location to NY before that in August or September.

• Should I file for my petition Amendment?
• If I already have premium processing for my current petition approval, should I need to apply for premium processing again for amendment? Or will my premium processing be applied to it automatically? How long would it usually take?
• Is it okay if I fill new Ds160 with amended petition and carry the old and new DS-160a for my upcoming appointment?
