UNAS Pro question

I'm looking into buying a UNAS Pro for home use, and I have questions about whether it would be worth it vs just an old PC running on my network.

I see it has lots of RAID options, but I don't need RAID. Is there any way to disable RAID on it and use it in a JBOD configuration? I can't see anything obvious about disabling the 'security' features and just using it as simple hardware.
