2 years+ as a daily and going strong.
I always thought the 925 was the best looking BB, but I didn’t buy one at release because of the lack of bracelet. I ended up buying one pre owned at a crazy good price ($2.75k full kit) and after a few weeks I decided I’d try a steel bracelet.
I had heard a lot of people say online the steel would destroy the silver or that the colors would be crazy mismatched but neither of those things have been true. Because the end links are fitted, there’s no give/friction/movement between the two metals at all.
I’ve liked this pair so much that I ended up selling my Sub and kept this as my daily. The dimensions - imo - are simply better than a modern sub. The color palette is fantastic and the silver makes it a bit more interesting to me.
I’ve been wearing this close to nonstop for over 2 years and have really not babied it a lot. I live in a highly humid area and have taken it to the beach quite a bit. It’s patinad a bit but not much. The SS and silver color difference is also not very noticeable.
TLDR - to me, this is the best dive watch option available in the market right now
