(repost due to not having another example) What are some tropes you usually dislike but there's a piece of media or a character that fits the trope that you like

I usually don't like the trope of demons being protagonists or sympathetic and I don't know if it's Christian bias or everything else I've seen with this trope not being for me but for some reason I really like Welcome to Demon School and I have no idea why

I also hate super arrogant characters who are jerks to the protagonist usually unless it's Vegeta maybe I'm just a giant dragon ball glazer I don't know
