Question about Tinder

Found out that my boyfriend had recently cancelled his Tinder Gold monthly renewal just in June of 2022. And found some emails saying that people have swiped on him or messaged him in May while his membership was still active. Even if he might’ve deleted the app off his phone and been inactive for about 6 months, could he still be getting stuff like that?
