Solo female thinking of traveling to Bangkok alone in mid February.

I'm a late 20s female been wanting to travel to bangkok alone for a long time. Parents have been strongly opposed due to the safely issue and concerns. Want to get some advice or opinion from others on safety concerns regarding travelling to Bangkok alone as a female.
