I'm having trouble deciding on a new TV

I know this has probably come up thousands of times before, but Black Friday is approaching. We've recently renovated our basement, and with rearranging the space the 12-year-old 40-inch LCD TV we have isn't cutting it anymore. I'm the tech guy in the household so I've been delegated to research and come up with what to get.

Currently, this is how it's setup:

  • 40" TV is a foot and a half off the floor (this is temporary) against the wall
  • 10'-11' away directly facing the TV is the couch
  • Perpendicular to the couch and TV is a smaller sofa

For this new TV:

  • I'm looking at mounting it with a wall mount so it can be swiveled and angled
  • Around 65" 4K, been looking at OLED and QLED
  • Will be used mainly for watching TV/Videos/Movies, occasional gaming

Pros of the OLED (I think this is what I'm leaning towards):

  • From what I've heard the picture quality is better
  • Viewing angles are better (I think this is a big pro)

Pros of the QLED:

  • They tend to be brighter (with the lights on, my basement can be pretty bright, but we can always dim the lights)
  • Cheaper

My only issue with OLED is the burn-in risk. Is this something I should be worried about? It's just going to be used normally -- a couple of hours in the morning and evening. All the TVs in my house are LCDs from 5-10+ years ago so it isn't something I've encountered before.

Any insight or recommendations are appreciated. Budget is probably around $1-1.5k ish. TIA.
