Misheard Taylor lyrics that you actually liked better than the real thing?

Obviously Taylor Swift is a songwriting genius, but I'm wondering if ya'll have ever preferred a lyric that you thought was the lyric but actually wasn’t?

For me, it’s the bridge in You Belong With Me. Instead of "I'm the one who makes you laugh when you know you’re 'bout to cry..."

I thought it was "I don’t know what makes you laugh when you know you’re 'bout to cry..."

I actually liked the misheard version better once I realized my mistake after a whole decade!! LMAO

Anyways, the reason I preferred that lyric was because I always interpreted that bridge as Taylor confessing that while she may not have figured everything out about him, she still knows enough to know that he belongs with her and vice versa.

I also really liked it because of the personality it added to the muse of the song. A guy laughing every time he knows he’s about to cry is such a specific and interesting detail to add to the song. It helped me picture the specific type of person she was singing to.
