Sims 2 Legacy Collection - Modding?

Hi Everyone,

I bought the Sims 1 and 2 to play on my steam deck and was looking forward to checking out some potential mods but haven't been able to figure out how to get them to show up in game. I'm sure that I'm doing something wrong (or it's not supported for the steam deck?) not sure but any assistance is appreciated if anyone has figured it out!
