Divorce is wild, y'all

In my first save, I married Emily. We had a good marriage, but it fizzled out. So, I worked up the actual nerve to file for divorce and Emily refused to leave (the crash bug for switch). Finally, Emily got the hint and left. I really wanted to marry Elliott on Spring 1, Year 9 and I was past that point once the papers were finalized. So, I'm waiting until I can propose last days of winter. WELL. I walked my butt into the Saloon the next day and all the boyfriends ambushed me. I thought it was HILARIOUS. Then I restarted the day and used a rabbits foot and no one was the wiser. So much drama after divorce (and before technically). The kicker? It's weird to lose an extra room, weird my wife isn't in the kitchen or outside and weird when I go to bed alone. Can't wait for Elliott to join my family since Emily and I adopted 2 kids
