Back in Squad League??

I have reached squad league before (only level 7) then the new world update came out. Got reset, and before the update last night I was level 149, prob 100 some portal energy to Squad League again.

Update this morning and I’m straight back to where I was left off in Squad League before?? (Level 7) I have not claimed or touched anything yet.

Am I missing something? Glitch or normal?
