No breaks đź«
I work outpatient at a Vascular Surgery center in CA and have anywhere from 10-15 patients a day. We got new management about a year ago and have had nothing but issues since (manager has no US experience). Things are consistently scheduled in incorrect time slots and we basically have to “figure it out” and they say “it doesn’t take you that long anyways” they also cut our exam times so we only get 45 minutes for bilat insufficiency exams. 🫠me and the other tech are getting pretty fed up and I’m debating whether these issues need to be addressed. When I started here, they had our 2 15 minute breaks blocked on the schedule. These blocks got removed and they told us we have to take our breaks when we have no-shows or cancellations. Isn’t that illegal? Some days we are back to back with patients and add ons and don’t have cancellations. Anybody else dealt with something similar? Most of the vascular surgeons we work for are amazing and appreciative but the management/front desk staff are making it impossible to want to stay.
