Obgyn / birthing references in Santa Clarita?

Hey lovely folks. I'm currently pregnant with my first baby. I live in Palmdale, which is like 40-45 min away from Santa Clarita but we just straight up don't have good providers or any decent hospitals that do birthing here. I'm looking for an obgyn you've had and loved in Santa Clarita. Also, which hospital would you recommend? I'm also looking into a birthing center like Purebirth, but I'm just a little paranoid about not having an MD around in case of emergency. Again, it's my first baby so I have no idea what to expect.

I've seen Dr. Navi as my gyno and he's wonderful but I feel like he's super busy and booked far out in advance. It feels impossible to see him and I want to have an obgyn I can feel connected to and know he'll be there for the birth.

I recently made an apt with Dr. Izu and will be seeing him tomorrow. He has a lot of positive feedback online but a good amount of negative feedback too. I was thrown off a bit by some interactions we had but he's also pretty nice and accessible. He gives patients his cell phone number and will text/call back pretty promptly, which I like.

I guess I'm just looking for a doctor who will be agreeable about the kind of birth I have in mind, within reason of course, and be present throughout the process. I'd like to give birth in a natural setting in a water bath, but I'm scared of having complications and no medical team around to help.
