Notifications

Hey pixel 9 mates,

I switched to the pixel 9 pro xl from the iOS world after more than 10 years using various iPhones.

I don't miss the iPhone a single bit and very happy with the move so far (more than 2 weeks since the switch).

The only thing I couldn't figure out in the android world is the notifications. Not sure how to put it to words. I think in iOS, the notifications disappeared from the lock screen after a certain time or something. Never cared to notice how it works until the switch. In android, notifications just dont go away until i clear it or open the notification. It keeps popping up along with other noticiations from the same app. Can any android experts explain how this works so that I can configure it accordingly?
