UA has no reaction to Haarlep scene. Intentional or oversight?

So I just went through the sex scene with Haarlep with unascended Astarion and then ascended. I didn’t go through with the sex either time and fought him with AA after passing the performance check to surprise and then kill him.

Went through with UA first and he doesn’t react at all! I thought it was a big so I reloaded and went through again but still no reaction. Doesn’t react when Tav takes off her clothes and says nothing when she lies down! Karlach is in my party and disapproves so obviously the party isn’t broken.

Went though with AA and he visibly reacts like he’s surprised and worried, fists clenched ready to fight when Tav takes off her clothes. Then says “Darling, what are you doing? This isn’t safe - you can’t trust him!” He’s immediately concerned and when I passed the check/the party starts the fight with Haarlep surprised, AA is sorted first then critical hits Haarlep. I like to think the game did that because AA is pissed 🥰

But I’m confused and hurt that UA had no reaction at all? Didn’t even do the fight I just exited the playthrough cause what the fuck. Do y’all think this was intentional or just the devs forgot to record lines for UA? I don’t know why they wouldn’t just have the same reaction for both versions of him? It just feels so out of character that he wouldn’t even visibly react.
