This new monthly megathread will serve as a point of reunion for people who want/need a constant, helping hand for OPTC and people who want to share their knowledge and help others.

In here, veteran and rookie players will be paired and form a mentor/mentee duo. The goal of this is for inexperienced players to have constant feedback and support from someone who knows well the mechanics and the meta. This differs from the Q&A megathread in that the idea is for the mentee to be able to ask as many questions as he/she wants without fear or shame. Also, the mentee would have someone to follow its trajectory and give more personalised advice.

• If you want advice, post a comment under the Mentee section and wait for someone to offer its help or reply to a mentor that has offered him/herself
• If you want to offer guidance, post a comment under the Mentor section and wait for someone to ask for your help or reply to an user that has already asked for it in the Mentee section.

Important things

• For the sake of keeping this thread clean, this thread is only meant for the meeting and pairing of the mentor/mentee couples. The actual guidance should be done in other place (pm, discord, smoke signals, carrier pidgeons, etc)
• Whenever you get paired with someone, please post a comment with both users to keep better track
• There is no requirement for any of the categories so anyone can offer/ask for help. However, if you're going to offer yourself as a mentor, bear in mind that you'll have someone to give constant advice to.
• Each mentee should only have one active mentor. If that mentor becomes inactive, message the mods to look for a solution.
• As a mentor there is no limit on how many mentees you can help to. However be aware of your limits regarding patience and time.
