Need help about making a purchase (Ultimate Spider-man)

I want to add the ultimate spider-man (Brian Michael Bendis) omnis to my collection and there is a price drop for volume 3 on amazon. Volume 1 is also available but volume 2 is not. Would you get 1 and 3 not knowing when volume 2 comes out?
