Experiences as an adult with RSV?

Either my 11 month old is/was asymptomatic and gave it to me, or Beyfortus is a MIRACLE because he is fine still and I’m on day 6 of symptoms.

This is by far the worst virus I have ever had. Tested positive in urgent care because I couldn’t breathe, every inhale feels like breathing through a shattered window. Can’t even imagine my baby dealing with these symptoms and not being able to communicate.

Anyways… I had a low grade fever return today after about 12h without one. Still struggling with a cough that is pretty unproductive, though it’s happening less frequently now. Lots of head congestion and I still have a mildly scratchy throat.

When can I anticipate being back to normal? How long do I need to isolate and wear a mask around my son? Thanks all!
