Nothing Phone (2) tap to wake

It seems that after 2.0.2 update, tap to wake up still doesn't work. I'm used to double tap the phone, when it's is lying on its back on the desk, but in the Phone(2) it works only when it is raised - like when I'm holding it in my hand.

But then I'm having turned on the option to wake up when raised, so I don't know if it supposed to work like this or is it still the same problem they tried to fix?
