Morrisons, from a customer viewpoint.

I've always used Morrisons here in Loughborough as its basically close to me and convenient.

But in the recent year I have noticed a dwindling amount of staff, the staff that I do see look stressed and demoralised.

There was also a period in early December where I counted 6 isles with sandbags on the floor soaking up water from the refrigerator units!

Not the occasional 1 isle, but 6! Obviously Morrisons are not doing pm (preventative maintenance) on the fridge /freezer units.

Also my store closes at 10pm, but I have noticed as early as 7pm there are now stock pallets all over the place, I'm a nimble kind of guy, but having to squeeze between a pallet and a shelf to reach a particular item I want and dodge the manic staff loading the shelves aswell, is not a good shopping experience at all.

If I was a pensioner I would find this distressing to say the least.

I sincerely hope Morrisons can turn the corner, but my local looks like a war zone at the moment and unfortunately I tend to walk a mile extra to aldi as they are cheaper and wow! There checkouts are fast, no hanging around, 6 people queuing up? Boom another till opens up instantly, I've even seen the store manager jump on the tills!

Aldi have really got it spot on.
