Microsoft teams and VPN

Hello,

I am going to Asia and I have some questions regarding the use of VPN and microsoft teams.

For the context :

• I am working in France
• I will travel in Asia for a few months
• My boss doesn't care where I work (he even encourages me to travel lol)
• But for company policy my IP needs to be in France
• This is my own computer and I am checking for a VPN 

My main use of the VPN will be for microsoft teams because I have 1 or 2 meetings per month

The problem is : I’ve heard people say that Microsoft teams sometimes fails to report the vpn address and still reports the local one

I was wondering :

Did you ever meet this kind of issue ?
