Rice PMBA ROI

Just got admitted to the Rice Professional MBA program and debating whether the $120K cost is worth it. My goal is to use the MBA as a career enhancer or possibly make a slight pivot from aerospace to tech. I currently work in engineering management with a $160K base salary, but the latest PMBA employment report shows an average post-grad starting salary of $152K.

I’m struggling with the financial ROI—at the moment, I don’t see a clear path to a $200K+ role, which makes the investment feel questionable. Will an MBA realistically help me substantially increase my compensation in the long run, or am I better off pursuing other career development paths? Looking for advice, thoughts, and feedback. Thanks!
