Resignation before NTE decision

Hello po, related po ito sa NTE process I'm experiencing now. Original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/LawPH/comments/15g65lc/notice_to_explain/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2

Note po I'm not questioning my employer's process as I believe they are doing things within the law. My original post question was also answered. I'm asking advice po here again so I have some idea on how to navigate things correctly.

I have a strong feeling that I will be terminated po but as of now wala pa pong decision. The anxiety is really affecting me.

My next question po is if I'm allowed to resign now before the decision comes, ayoko na po kasi patagalin, especially as my work/focus is already affected. In my mind I believe it's also better for job interviews if I voluntarily resign. Nakiusap na rin po ako sa HR if I can be given time or extension if the decision is termination so I can still earn for my family, pero ang feedback po sa akin is antayin yung decision. Dahil po sa sobrang uncertainty I'd rather resign now and move on.

Will it make things worse if I resign po? Will I even be allowed while the decision is pending? My contract says I have a 30-day notice period which I'm willing to render po if they want me to, however, from searching on the web I gather they are also entitled to make any disciplinary action (if meron man po) during this period as I'm still technically employed. So this is where I'm unsure I will be allowed to resign with immediate effect.

Appreciate the advice po and pasensya na wala po talaga ako mapagtanungan regarding these matters. Gusto ko lang po talagang matapos na and focus on the future.
