Study Permit Work Hours Reporting
Hi Everyone,
I'm a student in Ontario working a part-time job off campus. I have always stuck to working under 20 hours a week, and only during the scheduled break do I sometimes get the chance to work around 30 hours.
I currently work 17 hours a week, so that makes it 34 hours bi-weekly. I was wondering if I could work 17 hours in the first week and 23 hours in the second week, which totals to 40 hours in my bi-weekly pay period. This is just a one-off occurrence as my colleague needs to go on medical leave, and I could use some extra money this summer.
My questions are:
Do employers report weekly hours or the bi-weekly pay hours to IRCC? Or any other way of reporting the ROE (record of employment)
Will this have an impact on my Post Graduate Work Permit?
Will this impact my PR application work history check?
