HELP! Should my TOK essay introduction have a thesis??

So I’m starting to write my TOK essay and in our introductions my teacher said to NOT include a thesis or opinion statement, and to only include it as part of our conclusion as it gives away our position too much. And also to not include a hook because of the same reason. What is your guys’ experience with it, any tips?
