A few of us die-hands waited outside the arena in Knoxville on the off chance that MAYBE we might catch someone. When there were only about 10 of us left, around 1:30 a.m., Axl’s security suddenly came out and said if we put our cameras away he’ll come sign some autographs. We were SHOCKED!
I was shaking so hard I dropped my Sharpie. TWICE. 😂 I told him I hoped he was feeling better because he sounded amazing tonight! He said he wasn’t exactly sick, it was more that the doctors prescribed him drugs that fucked up his throat. Then he laughed along with everyone when I dropped my Sharpie AGAIN. 🫣 I told him I’d been trying to get an autograph for ~34 years~ so I was nervous. He said “Aww,” and while giving me a little hug said “now I feel old.” 😂😂🥰
