Today marks 14 years since I discovered the game. How did you come across it?

Today is a special day to me. 14 years ago I found this game at only 4 years old when my much older cousin showed it to me, but I more or less just walked into his room and saw what he was doing and got curious. It was Thanksgiving at my grandparent's place.

I got the game a day later on the 26th of November, Alpha v1.2.3_04 I'm pretty sure, my parents bought it for me. How did you guys discover the game?
