Okay… Lies of Locke Lamora Really Is THAT good!

I’m only 100 pages in, but I’m sold so hard on this book. I only have two questions:

1. I know the sequels get flak, but are they also good? (I hear a lot of people not enjoying them as much)

2. I know the author took a very long break, but I heard that some novellas have been written? (So is that progress?) Is it realistic to think that the series will continue with more novels? Or is it another Rothfuss/Martin situation?
