Needing suggestions

Bought this white painted house and need suggestions on how to enhance the curb appeal to make it much more welcoming. Thought about adding a portico or covering the porch area. House has a one year old roof and the brick has been painted so house will stay white. Please offer up ideas of how to transform little house. Not sure where to start.
