Live in Saffron Walden - work at London Stansted Airport ?

Me and my wife will be moving alongside our two dogs to Essex area as I will be working at London Stansted Airport and we came across Saffron Walden.

I have never been , but it looks beautiful , quiet and safe which is what we’re looking for ! Doesn’t look like too bad of a commute to work either as I will be working odd hours. Looking for any inputs and suggestions !
