From Idea to $35k/Month: My Journey with WrumerSound - The Device That Transforms Your Car's Sound!

Hey fellow entrepreneurs! 👋

I’m Jure, a software developer with a passion for cars and the founder of WrumerSound. I wanted to share my journey on how I turned my side hustle into a $35k/month business and what I've learned along the way.

🛠️ The Product:
I developed Wrumer, a device that connects to a car's OBD2 port and, paired with an app, simulates engine sounds through the car's speakers. It was a combination of my love for software development and a creative spark when buying a used car.

🚀 The Journey:
Getting here was not easy. The initial launch was quite underwhelming with minimal sales. However, after several tweaks, a focus on marketing, and persistence, I experienced a breakthrough. A partnership with a car content creator resulted in a video that garnered 2.6 million views and drove around 15,000 visitors to the website!

💡What I've Learned:
- Importance of Marketing: Your product can be groundbreaking, but without proper marketing, it might remain unseen. Get out of your comfort zone and explore different marketing avenues.

- Perseverance is Key: Initial setbacks can be disheartening, but don’t give up. Keep improving, keep learning, and stay focused.

- Leverage Social Media: Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook have been invaluable for me. Virality on these platforms drove a significant amount of our sales.

I found a lot of inspiration from Starter Story and the /r/Entrepreneur community. The stories and advice shared here were motivational and reinforced my belief that great things are possible.

💬 Advice to Aspiring Entrepreneurs:
Be willing to step out of your comfort zone. Explore areas that you are unfamiliar with and don’t be reluctant to learn new things. Consistency and focus are your allies. The only definitive failure is when you give up!
