Anyone else really dislike fighting the Fallingstar Beasts?
I have played Elden Ring for over 600 hours since it's release now and have learned to deal with and appreciate all enemies and bosses but man, do the Fallingstar Beasts also feel as annoying to you as they are to me? They are the only fights I genuinely never enjoy and especially the one on Mt. Gelmir is a major pain to me.
Reasons why:
-Some of their delays are absurd even by Elden Ring standards
-When you attack with a heavy weapon after one of their attacks, they often can just almost cancel the recovery and starts spinning around or sidestepping you, despite being such a large and heavy enemy.
-Almost every attack of them feels like it has a lingering hitbox (also shoutout to "invisible" hitboxes like when they kick up the ground in front of them and it is super hard to deal the area it affects)
-So many "don't touch me" attacks.
-Hitting them just feels wrong, can't even say why or how, it just has almost no feedback to me and makes my brain feel weird.
-Resistant against almost everything, can't even bleed.
-In general attacking their body feels like you are doing it wrong because you do little damage. But if you go for their head, it feels like they are having a constant seizure with how much it constantly goes up, down, sideways, into the ground.
Does anybody have any better plan on how to fight these things? In all these hundreds of hours, I have never managed to figure out how to actually fight them without being like "damn, I just kinda don't wanna play right now", lol. And this is coming from someone who thought PCR was actually pretty great.
