Should the RC publicize a “watchlist”?
With the bans yesterday I think it’s fair to say that Crypt and Lotus were kinda out of nowhere, but Dockside has been publicly on the RC’s radar for a while now. And to me, the knowledge that Dockside was on the RC’s radar makes the impact of it being banned less frustrating.
Would it help if they posted a watchlist? Just say “these cards aren’t being banned now but they are on our radar.” Personally, I feel with the RC’s previous reliance on Rule 0, and their historical “slow to ban” mentality, keeping players in the loop to prevent this kind of blindside again would be helpful.
