Tipping in Dublin?

Had a few drinks in the wool shed a few days ago and each time they gave the card machine there was a tip option?? Safe to say I clicked skip every time, this isn’t America, we actually pay our workers a wage that means they don’t need to rely on tips. Anywhere else in Dublin doing this so I can actively avoid?
