Little idea I've been thinking about in Regards to captain spencer and harry.
Since captain spencer is officially the main villain now which means he's likely gonna be a goner some time in the future I was thinking what if his death is used as a way to add more build up to Harry's eventual suicide.
like say that Dex does eventually prove to Harry that Spencer is the kidnapper and murderer and of course Dex wants to kill him but Harry despite knowing what he did is still reluctant to let Dex kill someone who he's known and worked with for many years
so Harry tells Dex not to kill him and that he wants to bring him down the right way but eventually Dex does go against Harry's wishes and kills spencer,
which Harry finds out about after the fact and this could be framed as the start of him finally becoming more wary of Dexter and the person he turned him into given that now he's even killed someone who Harry knew personally.
against his own wishes and this could end the season on Harry not being explicitly angry with Dex but more silently shocked and clearly starting to Realise exactly what he's created,
so it would sorta establish that him seeing Dex kill that that other criminal in that flashback wasn't the only thing that made Harry regret his choices and kill himself but it was more just the straw that broke the camels back.
after he had already started to become disillusioned to Dexter by him killing Spencer and probably lying to all their friends and co workers afterwards about his whereabouts effortlessly.
Just an idea I've been thinking about recently.
