Empty wall

I live in a weird townhouse and our options feel really limited as far as moving furniture around. What would you put on the empty wall next to the TV? I know I need to paint over my nail hole patches. I had some pictures up but ultimately moved it to the wall between our windows. Same goes for above the sofa area. It’s all stark and boring. I also need some lamp recommendations. I can’t stand the overhead lighting in here anymore.
