Escapism is growth's opposite

We are often trying to avoid things or just run away from things. I remember my binge watch phase looking back feels like addiction due to escapism. Even though we know it won't be magically solved we still might run away to maintain our comfort zone for the time being rather than expanding it.

Because we start to consider that particular thing so dangerous that our mind internally starts fearing or considering it as a danger. Our mind finds all the ways to avoid that task.

Some people have this mentality to think ' I want to do this and if I try this is achievable' and they start filling the gaps one by one slowly. That mentality is literally best thing to have if used for right purpose.

Previous year has taught me that nothing happens in an instant it requires alot of patience like alot and consistency until it becomes a habit.

I would love to hear y'all thoughts on this.

My updated views : Escapism can be healthy. Healthy Escapism is avoiding things or reality for a while. It's a extension to break with not a fixed deadline but knowing that you have to return back. People do get stuck in loop because reality feels unbearable or overwhelming and even they can't think of steps to return back at the point. Even if they know that they don't have to figure it all out at once, when things one by one start stacking up then the momentary relief is required to get back to challenge that life has been giving you. All matters is that the recover and return. Start figuring out things one by one.
