DAE get angry when another driver gives you the right of way?

I can think of 0 instances where this ‘kind act’ has saved me any time. The delay between them stopping in their tracks and me processing that it’s for me, is enough that the gesture is a negative for all involved.

It extra gets under my skin when the attempt to ‘help’ ends up slowing down other drivers. I save my loudest honks and tallest middle fingers for those.

Worse yet, they look at me like I’m the asshole, while they’re blocking traffic to have themselves a little warm-fuzzy.

Am I crazy for this?
